I am an Assistant Professor of English at a community college college-level. Prior to teaching at the college level, I spent nineteen years in the elementary classroom with a specialization in English Language Arts.

I'm a teacher, writer, entrepreneur, wife, and mom. My kids are grown up now. My son is in IT and my daughter is a professional ballet dancer. I'm married to an accountant. We live in Texas with our adorable cat, Bubbles. I love books, the ballet and theatre, a hot cup of tea on a cold day (we don't get cold days that often), and traveling. My dream is to write and publish MG/YA fiction (working on it).
